GMO safety in Africa (conference roundup)

In November, Cape Town hosted the 13th International Symposium on the Biosafety of Genetically Modified Organisms (ISBGMO13). The 4-day event covered the state of GMO's and in South Africa and Africa, Environmental Risk Assessments for GMOs, and practical biosafety issues for African countries.
